- Foreign Nationals: (including Nepali, Bangladeshi, Bhutani, and Tibetan refugee) For admission to Diploma Nursing (GNM) program you should have qualified 12th standard obtained by association of Indian University/ Institution/ Council or equivalent.
For Basic BSc Nursing
- You should have passed any other examination conducted by Boards/Councils/Intermediate education established by the State Government/Central Government and recognized as equivalent to the two-year pre-university examination by RGUHS/Association of Indian Universities (AIU), with English as one of the subjects, and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects, and should have passed English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology individually
- You must have obtained a minimum of not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English taken together in the qualifying examination. If you are belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes or other backward classes, then the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English taken together in the qualifying examination should not be less than 40% instead of 50% as mentioned above.
- You should have completed 17 years on or before the 31st day of December, of the year of admission
- Foreign Nationals: (including Nepali, Bangladeshi, Bhutani, and Tibetan refugee) seeking admission to Basic BSc Nursing program should have qualified 12th standard obtained by association of Indian University/ Institution/ Council or equivalent that has been prescribed by Indian Nursing Council.
For Post Basic BSc Nursing
- You should have pass in GNM after 10+2 or equivalent examination preferably with respective state /country
- You should be a registered Nurse and registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council
- If you are above 48 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission will not be eligible.
- Foreign Nationals: (including Nepali, Bangladeshi, Bhutani, and Tibetan refugee) seeking admission to Post Basic BSc Nursing program must have valid certificate of registered nurse by their own country.
For MSc Nursing
- You should have passed BSc Nursing (Basic) or Post Basic BSc in nursing degree from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka (RGUHS), or any other university accepted as equivalent by RGUHS, Karnataka.
- You should have minimum one year of work experience after obtaining BSc Nursing (Basic) in a hospital or a Nursing educational institution/community health setting.
- If you have done Post Basic BSc in nursing degree, no such experience is needed after graduation.
- You should have registered with the State Nursing Council as a registered nurse and registered midwife.
- Foreign Nationals: (including Nepali, Bangladeshi, Bhutani, and Tibetan refugee) seeking admission to MSc Nursing program must have valid certificate of registered nurse by their own country except for OBG specialty.
